That’s like saying it’s tempting to shove a screwdriver in your eye...

If you want transport then get a Camry.

I thought Suzuki got sued for these things being unreliable.

Really bizarre powertrain on these. Transversely mounted tiny displacement inline 6.

In the US they got some Deawoos as Suzukis. I didn’t know this either, until I saw what appeared to be a Deawoo Kalos badged as a Suzuki Swift.

Air steer...is that like when the steering wheel pops off in rallying? Cause I could totally see that happening in a car like this....

No, they had both.

Suzuki Verona = Daewoo Magnus = Chevrolet/Holden Epica

Suzuki Forenza = Daewoo Lacetti = Chevrolet/Holden Optra

Canada only, actually. Swift+ was an Aveo/Kalos.

If Suzuki sold their own Swift instead of all those rebadges to go downmarket they would probably still be alive today. Compacts and Crossovers are the hottest segments now and their brand are literally those two only.

Though some of Suzukis current models would be too small for the US/Canada, you definitely have a point. I can really see how the new Vitara and SX4 would be decent sellers.

Canada never got that gen Epica, but we did get the previous one. They were crap.

Kinja'd!!!

To be fair though, it wasn’t any worse than any of it’s Korean competitors (Sonata, Magentis).
