I’m wondering the same thing. This looks like a bit of wankateering to me.

Are they crazy expensive?

Kinja'd!!! "EL_ULY" (uly)
11/27/2017 at 15:21, STARS: 1

yes but not too crazy for our sort of cars. These retail for $280.53

11/27/2017 at 15:24, STARS: 0

Huh. seems like it would be a cheap enough upgrade that all the tire makers would do this.

Kinja'd!!! "Tekamul" (tekamulburner)
11/27/2017 at 15:34, STARS: 0

Not cheap. It adds a lot per tire.

the adhesive seems heavy duty but the foam seems basic. Prices wise, it’s about $60-$80 more

Kinja'd!!! "My bird IS the word" (mybirdistheword)
11/27/2017 at 15:59, STARS: 3

I meant the foam must be cheap price wise it’s a rip off.

Kinja'd!!! "My bird IS the word" (mybirdistheword)
11/27/2017 at 15:59, STARS: 2

That’s such a rip off.

Kinja'd!!! "EL_ULY" (uly)
11/28/2017 at 11:37, STARS: 1

It does actually, you can notice the difference on the highway but if the road is really bad, then these and all tires are still noisy.

Do they make foam you can add to the tires, or do they need to be made like that?

Kinja'd!!! "EL_ULY" (uly)
11/28/2017 at 17:10, STARS: 0

they look like one piece with some heavy duty adhesive

I’ll have to ask the knuckle draggers at America’s Tire about it and get some for the next set of Michelin’s for the Golf. I was really bummed I had put Pilot AS3's on it instead of some Michelin MX’s. But, I do love the ridiculous grip from the Pilot’s on the Golf.

Kinja'd!!! "EL_ULY" (uly)
11/28/2017 at 17:19, STARS: 0

AS3's are better than previous generations on Pilot AS..... but for my form of driving, MX are dabesss.

Kinja'd!!! "His Stigness" (HisStigness)
11/28/2017 at 17:27, STARS: 0

I think I would have been very happy with the MX, but they didn’t have it, and they gave me an even better deal on the AS3's. I think I’m on my second set, actually, and thanks to Michelin’s wonderful tire warranty I think I paid about $100 for all four after the rebates.

And maybe the mirrors, grab handles, and door seals. But all in black. I’m going from a grey headliner to black.

Sweet! The serial code is YA854753.

The car has a grey interior but hopefully, Mercedes makes it in black.

Can you send me diagrams? I for sure need the sunroof vents, and maybe the sunroof handle. And then I’m curious how much the grab handles are, but only if you can get them in black. The same goes for the vanity mirrors and the attaching points for them.

How about the sunroof parts and other interior parts?
