I decided to do some hotboi sparkle pant on a new radiator brackets.
However that’s not why I’m stupid... well not the only reason. I’m stupid because as I went to apply the third and final layer of clearcoat on the brackets I screwed up. I was t paying attention and picked up the wrong can. So instead of applying the last freaking coat of clear, I slapped on a splash of primer. And I couldn’t just wipe it off because the clear underneath was still semi wet. Uugh.
I took the flapwheel to it got it back to bare metal. So now one bracket is finished and the other is primered. Gotta love it when you screw up on the last part of a project

Next step: spray the dashboard and install a jelly shifter. Add no less than ten air fresheners. Add stickers (no fat chicks - weight distribution, bro!). Oh and I have a neochrome steering wheel that you can use!

Painting the dash like this is aaaalmost temping. I have a big flower shifter kinda like this one but all the flowers are purple, but I hate it and just use the stick one while it sits in the glovebox. I always keep a coconut little tree on my car to counter act the oil smell. I got enough stickers already, and my black spokes, and wood rimmed steering wheel is the Jam. Neochroms, or regular chrome for that matter, has no business in an interior.
I’m not into stance enough to ever go full hotboi.

Cuz I can. Also this is a test run for some day when I paint the engine bay. I wouldn’t do this color in the whole engine bay of this car, but maybe a future stance or drift project.

I want to see the dash painted. That actually looks pretty good, if I didn’t already have red valve cover I’d think about doing some engine bay painting with that stuff.

It seems like such a cool paint but at the same time it’s so unique it’s hard to tell what would be good applications for it. Like would it be cool for wheels? Idk! Interior accents? Probably? Exterior accents? I don’t think...?

It’s one of Runstoleum’s glitter “paints” which is glitter suspended in clear. I just laid it over purple, and laid clear over it. In theory the extra clear should ad depth and make it look more like a real metal flake, and the seems to be true. This is different from the sticky spray glitter that you get at a craft store. And they have a whole range of colors. I was just going to do silver but this caught my eye.

That glitter cap seems like it’s got purple to it?
But very cool either way (I do like the purple - it just wouldn’t seem like clear paint if I saw it in the store). I’m going to keep this in my mind going forward!

There is purple glitter in there along with blue, red, green, I think they just threw every color in there. I was confused too, And labeling on the can doesn’t really clear things up either.
