I would be completely done with this but I heard three bangs on the wall from the neighbors side... apparently they have a different floor plan and that kitchen wall is shared with their master bedroom... this is 4 days after my wife managed to take out 3 pots of theirs in the median at the end of the driveway... Great first week in the neighborhood.

the walls are painted now but i dont have a pic. covering up the old two tone white over blue has been hard. primed and two coats of light grey and you can still see it. Has your wife started with, this is great and all but when are you going to be done?

Nope not yet. She understands it was either me start ripping I out but otherwise it would have been 2 weeks and we can’t do anything until then. Also, the major ripping and tearing only stared out yesterday.

We didn’t go all Dr. Destructo on my mom’s place, but we are working through drywall repairs and fresh paint in every room.
Even without tearing structure out, we managed to fill two more dumpsters over Thanksgiving week.
Those poor columns on the front of the house take a beating from the sun. I thought they were plastic or foam shells around 4x4 posts, but we discovered they are cast composite and are load bearing. So, instead of a cheap and easy replacement, we have to take the time to repaint them.

So far we took one Tundra full of debris to the dumpster at my parents shop. I imagine I’ll fill up one more.
