It may have been a small field at only 24 cars, but it’s still impressive that Crazy Leo finished 3rd in a production class Subaru.
By far the “warmest” Tall Pines I’ve attended yet, with only slight icing and soft mud (intermittent rain) being among the many hurdles.

Who is this Crazy Leo? He followed me out of the blue on instagram a few years ago and I followed back... seems like a great driver but I know nothing more, nor have I been to any Canadian rallies (although I should being only a few hours from the border)

He was one of the top privateers back in the day against the factory Subaru team and before L’Estage went on his 9x championship streak. Around 5 years ago he had a pretty big crash in the beginning of the season and then went overseas for a bit to compete in the WRC.
Now he’s back with the same team but in a production class car but with nearly the same pace as the open 4wd class.
