Looks alright. I used 550/paracord instead of the elastic stuff it comes with, because some old guy on the internet says it’s better because it doesn’t stretch out over time like the stuff they give you.
I really have no idea how I started it, but I ended it with a clove hitch and tied it off. I think I started it with basically a shitty version of that (beginning left, ending right)
I should’ve tied it so that I could tuck the end into the cover, but it’s not like I really car about looks on this car.
I tightened it three times, but it didn’t look as poofy as I wanted it too. Still doesn’t look bad though from a small distance.
I drove it around a little bit and I like it. It’s some kind of weird synthetic leather stuff. Not the most comfortable material in the world, but an improvement over what it was.
Also I found out why the SRS light is on. I tested the horn to see if it works and 1) It doesn’t 2) It doesn’t have an airbag. I guess tomorrow I’ll call somewhere that does inspections and see if I can pass with that.

If I had to guess, it’s probably not even because of a wreck. Probably just pulled it out and sold it for half of what he sold the car for lol.

Idk, it had paper plates that didn’t expire till two days ago. I really no nothing about the history of the car. Considering the shape it’s in I’m really surprised it’s not a salvage title. Although it probably should be.
Probably was and then through some crossing state lines trickery it got a clean title.

Ah the old inspection stickers. I thought we phased those out further back than that. But I guess if you got an inspection in early 2015 it got a sticker good passed when they stopped doing inspection stickers.

I believe cars that needed an inspection in Feburary of 2015 were the last cars to wear the inspection stickers. My M3 didn’t get one when I went for an inspection in March of 2015.

Since the seats are pretty gross and I’m to cheap to buy seat covers for the rear (I’ll get some soon for the front). I’m seriously considering getting a rug from goodwill for the back seat. Just cut a few holes for the seat belts.
