There is a 95% chance I will keep it. Subaru extended the drivetrain warranty to 8yrs/80,000 miles so I’m no longer so concerned about needing an additional new engine.

My car was part of the class action suit against subaru for excessive oil consumption. They replaced the short block at 32k due to it burning a quart every 1,000 miles.
