Yesterday I finally sold the Z. I wasn’t home because of work so my dad took care of all the paperwork after me and the buyer had settled on a price over text. Didn’t get to take it for a final drive or watch it go away. Kinda weird thing to be bummed about but I’m sure you guys here understand it. Well it’s off to her new home where a dad and his 17 year old kid are going to have it as a project/first car for the kid. Left my OPPO sticker on the back so who knows maybe we’ll see them around here eventually.

First car? I’d have killed myself in that at 16. My first car was a 45HP Diesel Jetta with a quarter of a million miles. I still got 2 speeding tickets in that thing though..... downhill.

I advised him against it. I specifically told him that the car is fairly light has 300hp and no traction control. Told him that I’ve seen more than just a couple of young guys but themselves too much car and end up injured. He still felt his kid was capable of handling it. At the end of the day it’s his judgement I did my part of warning him.

Mine was an ‘06 revup that I’ve had the past 5 years. Bought it as a sophomore in college after I sold my old YJ Wrangler. Now I’m back to Jeeps again.

Thanks. Yea from what my dad just told me it’s a Christmas gift to the kid. The kid has no idea about it. It’s going straight to a body shop to touch up the scratch in the door and possibly wrap the roof to cover the clear peel. From the sound of it they are gonna treat her good.
