I am ticked to be at work today. It is Black Friday/ the Friday after a holiday and I work at a dealership. This means there will be very very few customers, no wholsale because all the shops in town are closed, few deliveries because trucking companies aren’t running, and there will be no over the counter sales because people don’t want to come in today. I have been at work an hour and the phone hasn’t rung once. Oh did I mention I also have to work tomorrow? That is right the Saturday after a holiday...

Same. Half our techs are off/leaving early. Our last appointment is at 11AM. Boss expects us to stay until 5PM... JUST IN CASE.

I haven’t had a single phone call, shops all around town are closed, had one customer come to the counter because he’s taking delivery of his truck today and wanted to see if his accessories came in, which surprisingly they did.

IF we get to close early, I’m gonna hang around till 2 when our order cutoff is, put in the order, and go home and have leftovers.

We got off early Wednesday, I doubt today. Our techs are all here and have a decent backlog...

Same. Wednesday is our late night, 7PM. We were done at 3 or so, out at 5.

So far I’ve had more interaction with UPS and FedEx than anyone else today.

That used to be my background for many years. I told the wife if the GTO gets messed up it’s being reborn as the VZ Mallo with GTO front end. I know you agree, because you don’t like the HSV front end either.

I agree 100% with this! If I didn’t like having a 2+2 coupe I would have mine turned into a Maloo... Maybe if I get a G8....
