Just to compare next to each other. I grabbed Civic, Camry, Rogue, and GranTurismo. I like to look at cars as if Im in the year 2027 looking back at them car.
If you look at a car as if it’s 20 years old for some reason they look far better than viewing them as if they were 10 years old. Go look at a picture of a 1998 car and tell me you arent more attracted to it than you expected.

I remember a few years ago when everyone said the redesign was perfect! Best looking car in the segment, fixed every issue they had with the old car!

Thats just how it goes with mainstream vehicles. People always want more than what they had. In the luxury space that equates to power but at the commodity end it turns into space.

Makes more ‘space’ in Honda’s lineup for the Fit.
I’ve said it before... The 1980s-old-to-new equivalents are Civic/Fit, Accord/Civic, Legend/Accord.
And that’s also why I believe the Legend/RL/RLX hasn’t sold well for a long time... it’s getting cannibalized by a larger Accord/TLX.
Honda hasn’t put the proper resources into turning it into a proper full size flagship sedan that can compete with full size sedans from other luxury brands.

My hairstylist has a new Civic hatch. I parked next to her in my TSX (aka an Accord) today. My car is only like 6” longer. The sedans are probably the same size.

That was the ugliest gen of Accord. And the only time a Camry has truely beeen better looking than its contemporary Accord. Well that’s not true. 92-93 Camry has the Accord beat as the 90-93 Camry still looked like a 80s car, the 92 Camry was yesrs ahead design wise.

Agreed. I think the gen before it looked nicer too. But it looks like the new one has got to be my favorite. The rear lights could be a little better but it looks really nice, that and it’s engine/transmission options.
