I wanted one of these back in the day. It seemed to have everything one could want in the ‘80s - AWD, 16V and a turbo. OK, this one’s seen better days and a tad rusty, but it’s relatively cheap at $1,500. Is it worth saving, even as a parts donor? Not for me, but for someone a tad more adventurous than I...

As a previous owner of a 323 GTX, it’s not a terrible price if it runs alright and the transmission isn’t shot. The interior isn’t great and that’s way more rust than mine had though. With no information other than the photos available, I would be trepidatious. Test drive it and haggle from there.

Seems like a decent price to me. You just have to realize you’re going to spend that much every 6-12 months to keep it on the road.

You would be terrified of how my Focus looks underneath...

Lemme give you a hint... I’m guessing I’ll only get 1-2 more winters out of it before the rust becomes a safety issue.
