My first trip to HI I stayed at Hale Koa. We could never really make it past the pool bar, IIRC.

I used to live a couple blocks from there, you by the Hilton cuz? Waves look shit. I will tell you one of my favorite spots, as a local, google “china walls oahu” and it is a rock wall that waves hit and make ricochet waves. You jump off into the waves and then you have to climb out with a rope there. Also the beach by the power station on the way out to Waianae is fun, the power station sucks in water, uses it for cooling and heats it up, then spits it back out these huge pipes a ways off the beach. You can swim over the pipes and get pushed out, plus da fishes like da warm water brah! If you have any question, jus as me brah.

Go past Hawaii Kai to Makapu’u and it will be beautiful and relaxing, nice spot too, fun waves.
