Anyone got a racing steering wheel they can recommend for the Xbox one?

I’m looking for one and it needs to be at a reasonable price so Fanatec is immediately out of the question. I’ve already had that Thrustmaster 458 spider wheel that only turns 240° so I’m looking for something that turns 900°. And it needs to have a clutch

This is the one I’ve considered the most

yeah, the G920 is pretty much the only thing that fits the bill. I have a G29 (the PS3/4 version) the shifter is a little flimsy feeling, but it works, as does everything else. And the price is much easier to stomach than a Fanatec.

Thrustmaster T150 i’ve been recommend to replace my G27 because the logitech’s are, fairly put, not that great. But you’d others pedals to get a clutch with that, so i assume the set you need to get is the T300. Else the G29/920 is plenty alright for normal sim racing and etc.

If you want just a decent wheel, I’d check either the TMX (belt driven and very positive feedback on the buttons and paddles)

I’d try it but it needs a clutch. I want to row my own gears

The Fanatec CSL Elite starter pack is $299 tomorrow. You’ll have to do without the clutch for now, but maybe pick up some used pedals and a shifter down the road.

To me the shifter on the G920 was unusable, but I was coming from Fanatec so not really a fair comparison.

I just ordered a G920. Ive wanted a wheel for years, so now is a perfect time to do so.

Thanks again for posting this thread. I just wanted to show what it inspired me to get:

Ended up getting one of those as well. Don’t have my phone on me at the moment but will edit this post later. Is it me or is the brake pedal super stiff?

It is very stiff. I make it where the brake only needs about 40% for max force. I love it though. It also makes sense though for heel toe braking. If the brake went to the floor, trying to blip the throttle for the rev-match would be super difficult.

I love it. Project cars 1 & 2 is FANTASTIC with the wheel. I’m not feeling Forza 7 as much. Be sure to read up about how to set the force feedback and also what clipping is.
