If you are aware and have been reading MF Ghost at all, the latest chapter has revealed what Kanata’s car will be, and in hindsight, I guess we saw this coming:
A Toyota GT-86 (pre-facelift).
Better buy those pre-facelift GT-86s/86s/FR-Ss/BRZs now and store them away before the drift kids try to track them down in the coming decades when the anime releases.
EDIT: Well, I didn’t realize that the raw scans are already up to Chapter 10, so I guess it’s been known for some time. Even so, might be wise to buy one now before the “MFG Tax” hits.

Didn’t they tease that car back in chapter 1, though? It wasn’t a very well-kept secret.

They did, but we didn’t know the color at first until now. (If you look it up, it’s a red one with the white “86" numbering and red-trimmed rims of some design.
