1) why FP not do a review of Forester 2.0XT, a vehicle that’s been around since MY2014?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

2) why Subaru not offer same engine in Outback since they can’t seem to get 3.6R right?

You mean Jalopnik? They’re not a review website, not even close. They seem to review whatever they can get their hands on, but there’s like one review per month.

There was a review of sorts back in 2012:

The Outback can be had with the FA20DIT in China. Why it’s not offered in the US, I don’t know? Different target market I guess. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Outback/Legacy gets it in place of the 6 cylinder.

The vehicles they do review are pretty good. I bought 2 vehicles they reviewed due to the reviews. I agree with all the points the made.

Of course I expect a review of the Fiesta ST, it’s one of the most loved cars here!

But do we see reviews of ordinary cars/crossovers? I remember seeing the Outlander Sport recently but that’s it

That said, I really enjoy William Clavey’s reviews and it’s most of the time cars enthusiasts are interested in.

Sorry, I meant to post the ST and the CX-3 review

Oooh, good find! Isn’t the FA20DIT their diesel? I guess even with urea injection, it couldn’t make U.S. regs. Or they couldn’t be bothered.

I did just notice that Stig-a-saurus- wrecks took the plung: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/a-new-entrant-for-wagon-wednesdays-1820675472

Just in the last three months August they’ve reviewed the Honda Fit, the Lexus RX 350, the Honda Accord, the Acura TLX, the Mini Clubman, the Toyota C-HR, the 2.0T Camaro, the Lexus NX200T, the VW Atlas, and the Honda HR-V. I’d call those pretty ordinary for the most part

I’ll bet the availability of the 2.0 turbo motor in the outback and legacy will change now that Honda, (and now maybe Mazda?) will be offering something similar. (And isn’t the new three row SUV getting a new 2.4 turbo?) I’m thinking the 3.6 does not have long of this earth.

Not much point reviewing something that will be replaced in 2018 anyway. Expect the next Forester to have much the same engines as the Impreza and XV. Word is that the diesel 2.0 in some markets may not make the jump though.
