Which one’s the better-looking, better-playing game? And can both of them coexist in a high mid-tier Android phone?

Haven’t played the latest Android fare for driving games, but I would have a guess that Gran Turismo is better playing and the Android game is better looking

I always found that RR is a piece of shit, defaulting with auto-brake, auto-steer, and all sorts of traction/braking assists turned on and hard/impossible to disable. Basically it’s made to be a car game for people who aren’t into cars at all.

But GT on PSP was iffy, with no real career mode.

I like using a PSX emulator on GT2. Heaps of cars and events, and the physics are quite good for the age. But obviously the graphics won’t be at the same level.

hard/impossible to disable

That’s where you’re wrong.

You can actually disable them all before the race (at the right side of the screen), and they stay disabled for as long as you play. Auto-throttle can be disabled too, and easy to find in the gameplay settings menu.

Basically it’s made to be a car game for people who aren’t into cars at all.

Explains why they’ve got SIX LMP1 and V8SC cars.

Don’t totally disparage Real Racing 3. For all its faults and greed it’s well-sorted fundamentally.

Which one’s the better-looking, better-playing game?

Gran Turismo. While it’s graphically less advanced, the GT4-imported assets show a clear attention to detail. More importantly, it’s absent of ‘pay to win’ features and much more unlockable content to keep any car enthusiast coming back for more.

Can both of them coexist in a high mid-tier Android phone?

Probably. But I never enjoyed playing RR, so I’ll just take Gran Turismo.

Maybe it’s time I gave it another shot, again. Every now and then I try and I’m gravely disappointed.

You should have come during the Lotus expansion. Cheap-to-run events, with the Exige and 3-Eleven some of the best mid-tier cars in the game.

Frankly I would’ve sworn off the game had I not been playing it since 2015. If you start this late you’ll really be just bummed.
