I saw a ATS coupe at the gas station yesterday, black with tinted windows and stock rims, and man that thing look GOOOOOOOOD.

It just occurred to me, if anything is the modern successor to the Trofeo, it’s the ATS coupe.

I think the Trofeo was a different concept of luxury, one that’s all but disappeared from the new Cadillac. The Trofeo was not about performance, like the ATS is, but about getting there in roomy comfort and style.

The Trofeo actually handled pretty well. My dad loved that it was comfortable and relatively fun to toss around. I think a non-V ATS holds pretty true to that. They’re really comfortable, and very stylish.

They did, in fact. They weren’t made specifically for performance, but they still performed.
I’ve never ridden in an ATS. I’m glad to hear they still make comfort a priority.

Yeah, it actually is an ATS-V but it looks like the owner added more black styling than what comes OEM.
