1st-gen, not 2nd? 2nd gen looked like a baby 3000GT in good ways. 1st-gen had pop-up headlamps initially then had slit-like flush-mounts that - in retrospect - must have been an inspiration for the Oldsmobile Alero.

The only thing I do not like about the new Vantage is the cheap looking mesh grille. Replace it with the standard AM polished slats like the DB10 and you have quite the looker.

Yep, you’re right. I completely forgot that the actual first gen existed. Saw it while googling for the second one and mistook it for a Subie SVX.
