Not only unobtainium, but prices may be on the rise. There was one on BaT that sold for some ridiculous amount.
Finding facelifted ones (1997-1999) is a fucking test of faith. I looked so hard for one. Even the one I found needed a timing belt and a little interior work. So naturally I passed and ended up buying a Lexus that needed a timing belt and a little interior work.

Shame because when I got my 98 gs300 there were many facelift sc400s for sale for dirt cheap. What a freaking grand tourer for the money when you factor in maintenance costs
