When I purchased this finely aged Lexus I had all intent to drive it like any other car I would own. After a water pump and timing belt install and careful inspection from a mechanic friend of mine I knew the old Lexus was ready for my abuse. I mean leisurely Sunday driving. After several hundred miles of driving around the date for the final autocross had arrived. I packed up my gear and drove off to Quonset, Rhode Island for ADSI on an old Air Force runway. For the past 25 years this Lexus has waited for me to wring out all of its sporting potential.

You put it to the wood. Good run, maybe a cone at the start.

Thank you. You are correct. I didn’t realize til I just saw it in my side mirror. Usually the same Camaro clips that one. Looks like my fastest run of the day was actually the one before this.

Only manual Lexii you find around here for sale is an IS250, and maybe an SC300 every once in a while.

Same around here. The SC with the V8 and auto actually interests me more as a luxury highway cruiser rather than the inline tuner cars.
