Yeah its my commute to work so its probably not that exciting but it was a good way to test out my new dashcam. There is some beautiful scenery and I did drive through the Snake on Mulholland Highway so its not too boring. Enjoy!

STi on Mulholland is a waaay better 54 min trip than the 54 min trip I take which features a very curve crazy/ hairpin tire screeching 1960 and Hardy Toll Road.

It takes about 40 minutes in the morning to take the 101 versus 55ish minutes on mullholand to the PCH. I’m of course skipping the later half of mullholand that would take a bit longer.
In the evening though Google maps generally shows about an hour on the 101 so taking the canyons is actually faster assuming I don’t get stuck behind a dump truck for miles.

It’s awesome so far! Registering it at the Dmv right now, hopefully without issue. Who knows how long California Dmv will take. At least I made an appointment. I can’t quite figure out how to get the headlights high enough to actually see well but I only played with the adjuster screw for a couple of minutes. That’s been my only complaint, I can’t see at night lol.

Certainly plenty of crackheads on the highway bits, although not so much during commuting times. People seem to be mostly functional although completely addicted to clogging the left lane.

Yeah I would certainly do that for future videos, this took FOREVER though just to combine the 10 minute files that the camera produces and output it from windows movie maker into one file. With no editing involved. It ran overnight to finish it. Then uploading probably took an hour or more while I was driving to work the next day. I will do that though if I find interesting stuff to record.

Yeeeap. I usually do La Cienaga to the 405 to Crenshaw blvd. I’m lucky in that my bosses don’t mind when I clock in/out so long as I get in 8 hours so I usually clock in a bit after 6 and leave around 3.
