I have, like, 120+ unused hours of sick leave and I’m not feeling that stellar anyway, so it seemed like the right thing to do. Phantom III picture is unrelated.

If you take/receive sick leave then you have to home. Coming to work while being on sick leave is highly unrecommended in here. The main reason is that company insurances don’t apply if a person on sick leave manages to get (more) hurt while working.

And company demanding people to work on sick leave would be getting very negative media attention. Of course if aren’t dead you can drag yourself to work while being sick. But working really badly due sickness would be a somewhat good reason to fire someone but not someone being sick at home.

120? Gawd. I thought I had trouble using up the 72 I get every year. I only ever call out two, three times per year. I opt to take a payout rather than roll over my unused sick time though. It’s nice, around the same time my tax returns come back I also get a check for like 50 hours.
