Those pedals are pointless.
Looking at the wheels, tires and fork, never mind the battery, that is a motorcycle, no pedals needed.
Sure enough, reading the details, 38hp and 6.5kWh (available up to 10kWh!) that is not something you pedal. It did not list the weight, but at 6.5kWh, that’s at least 70 pounds of battery. The whole thing is probably pushing 200 pounds. That’s a motorcycle. It should not have pedals.
...and, now looking somewhere else, it’s 282 pounds! That’s essentially the same as my Zero, a 45hp full fledged motorcycle. Those pedals must be an attempt to skirt some regulation.
EDIT : Ha! $23k US up to $34k. At it’s not even parallel drive, it looks to be serial, so when your battery dies, you’ll need to pedal it like a stationary bike to built up charge to get anywhere. That won’t look silly on the side of the road somewhere. Not at all.
Bike shorts, a full jacket and helmet. That won’t look silly at all.
