Crawler, very rarely used. It’s essentially a four speed box. Although you wouldn’t in practice use all the gears you could theoretically go C-1-2-3, switch to high range (lever on front) go back to 1 which is now 4 and go 4-5-6. C isn’t a viable ratio in high range. That gives you seven speeds. In addition there’s a switch on the side which allows you to split all of those into low and high so also in theory you could go C(low)-C(high)-1(low)-1(high) and so on. Omit the crawler (more common) and you get 12 gears. Keep it but rearrange the ratios so you can use all four gears in high and low and you get 16 (less common nowadays).
High and low range reverse too.
