Looks like a Jeep of some description, but isn’t.

So I looked at the tax disc. It’s a Make Unspecified. New one to me but there you go.

I was thinking that it could be some Suzuki SJ based kit car but it lacks some wheel bolts.

Maybe an old Willys (or Jeep to Willys conversion) where they swapped out the grill and other bits?

It looks familiar, is it a Spanish or Portugese made vehicle.

It appears to be a Jago Geep or Sandero, a British kit car that was made available for a variety of platforms - Anglia, Escort, Morris Minor, or Defender.

Yes, that would seem to match.

I believe it’s a Jago Geep, a kit car made in the UK from the 70s to the 90s. Mostly (rwd) Escort based.

A Jago Geep is the consensus.

Cool. Never heard of it though.

I was convinced it was a Spanish, Portuguese or Mexican copy.

Wonder if they got sued by AMC?

They changed the name subsequently....

Not just on the name, but they could have tried suing on the design - but as we learned later, BMW sued the Chinese on the X5 and lost.

Also, does anyone know the email for the power-that-be here? Need a ruling before I post something.
