We didn’t get any of those here but Polonez sold semi well. One of my friend did import one of those modernized models but he couldn’t register it as it didn’t meet the emission requirements. He was (maybe still is) the president of Finnish FSO club. Yes, such exists.

Pretty awesome...I’ve contemplating importing a pre-Daewoo Polonez here instead of (or along with) the FIAT 126 I want. They may not be fast, or good handling....or pretty....or any other positive word, but my friend in Poland tells me they actually aren’t that unreliable and pretty easy to work on, depending. :)
