I love it someone cares about attention to detail.

7' opening, 7 tiles. 4" crosshead, 4" wall base.

Dumb luck, not skill.

Sonofabitch I didn’t see that cutout at the floor. Dammit.

Interior elevations are bae. I’ve spent hours aligning R&R rain screen panels with window mullions over the last couple months, but it’s worth it because it’ll look great.

My first thought was I am not going to care because I don’t notice things like that, but that is lovely. It really is lovely.

I think it’s just mere coincedence. With tile, you’re supposed to mark dead center of the surface you are tiling, and lay the first tile there. Then work your way out.

I think he got lucky. But if you build “How’s it going to end up?” into your thinking, it doesn’t take a Herculean effort, only some practice, to make things look like you actually thought about them.

Is that weird little space between the door trim and the tile going to be tiled? And why is the door trim so...weirdly blocky?

Gotta love people that take pride in their work.

Silly details like that make me smile. Like an Electrician that has all the cover plate screws aligned the same way, a Plumber that keeps all the lettering on his pipes aligned or the HVAC guy that shoots a little black paint into a vent opening so you don’t see the duct through the grates. I’m weird.
