When I was in the Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana, in the mid-eighties, I happened to drive behind an M-60 tank as it fired. I was perhaps 50 yards behind it when it fired and the percussion was unbelievable.

That’s a great image.
If my guess is correct, and that tank is firing APFSDS rounds, it’s essentially the worlds most lethal high velocity dart gun.
