This, to me, is just lazy. Why do your decorations look like junk during the day even if they do light up at night? Is it just me or do other Oppos feel this way?

100% this. Every damn year I see more and more christmas shit earlier and earlier. The last few years I’ve even seen places doing christmas in July type stuff. Just fucking no. It’s not christmas season until the day after Thanksgiving, at the earliest. Also worth noting, christmas decorations should be taken down by Dec 31.

If I became president I would institute a rule of only white Christmas lights on houses and a single Christmas tree per town/city. All other decorations would be fined... heavily.

It’s not the light strings that look bad. Those can be kind of festive even in daylight, kind of a promise of the beauty to come at sundown. The problem is those wire frames.

Now this is something I can get behind. I’m not a fan of high tech displays. My neighbor has one of Santa in the bathtub with his reindeer. It’s a blow up with scrubbing motion.
