Recently, I saw the license plate RAP1272. Looks a bit like “rapists.” Not quite, though.... but there’s probably a RAP1575 out there, and nine other RAP157_ tags. And then the RAP127_ ones, too. Not to mention the thousand RAP3___ ones out there.
TL;DR - RAP is a bad idea to use for license plates.

I don’t understand our state. They used all the P’s, then they used QA, QB, and QF, then jumped into R and some S’s thrown in there. Not to mention the random C’s that get issued here and there!

In Finland our license plate are currently in ABC-123 form. SEX, GAY and FAG plates were distributed normally like others during 90's. In older times the letter or number amount could be less too. Technically RAP-3 could exists but at least currently it doesn’t.

Here, they skip over things like that. I’m not sure why they didn’t catch this one. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen ANA, which might be because 1s and 7s would look a bit like Ls.
