Ah shit, chocolate and nuts. My kryptonite.

Well, not really, I’m more a cookies & cream kind of guy, but you know.

It’s made in Houghton Square, London, SW9.

It’s three pounds for the tub, which isn’t the cheapest but it’s still cheaper than Ben and Berries or Hagen Dazs.

Apparently it contains erythritol and steviol glycosides instead or sugar which induces a lower blood glucose level increase.

It’s made from Virgin coconut oil, stevie leaf and fresh milk from meadow grazed cows and has 54% fewer calories and 58% less sugar.

I’m not one for cookies and cream, cookie dough, chocolate brownie and whatever, etc....

Give me the more classic flavors any day.

I look at Ben and Jerries stuff and think someone just shouted out a few random food words in a boardroom and then they went, ‘okay, let’s make it’.

I think they have decided that ingesting lots of coconut oil isn’t very good for you. Topical is all good, but it is technically bad oil to ingest.

The mint chocolate swirls was very good. In fact the lid never went back on. ;)

Ye’, coconut oil is a saturated fat, about 92% but several studies have been done and found not all saturated fats behave the same.

Two tablespoons (36ml) a day for a woman is about 20% of her daily limit.

The amount of coconut oil in this is 2% total for a 500ml tub so 2% of 500ml is 10ml.

In the end, everything in moderation.

Don’t forget the ‘apple fruit extract’ (AKA apple juice) to make it taste palatable sweet rather than chemistry set sweet.

I’m a fool for Caramel.

Word of warning. If you see Pepsi Salted Caramel over there? Do not buy it! Bloody awful.
