You guys remember that clapped out 84 Civic I posted about a few days ago? Well I have an appointment to go check it out Sunday. I wanted to look at it sooner but he seller’s work schedule is opposite mine, so Sunday it is. I’ve got those car buying jitters, and the car doesn’t even really run, and is a crappy, ugly, 33 year old Econobox. But you guys haven’t bought a car in like 2 and a half years! Here’s the original post if you missed it. Plans for this car is to do a Kanjozoku style build and Daily it when the Galant is down for repairs/mods.

3rd gen wagon, nice for the price
I myself prefer the ef wagon, but that comes with a large price increase for pretty similar cars, they even look similar enough mist won’t confuse them

I would much rather have an EF. 4th gen Civics are without a doubt my favorite cars. But the third gen has lots of pure 80s oddness that I find endearing. Like the rear windows that’s 2 inches lower than the belt line and goes all the way into the roof.

Unfortunately this is a FWD model. But that’s okay I don’t NEED two AWD cars. And I don’t really want an AWD car with less than 100hp either, that sounds very boring. Plus the EW1 engine is harder to turbocharge than the D series as its carbureted. If I buy this car and keep it long enough I may some day swap a 99-00 D16Y8engine in though.
