Also see BMW maintenance and reliability issues, depreciation in value, and possible $81K price tag ($70k base M4). Plus IMO that interior is hot garbage, might have nicer leather stitching and so on but i wouldnt get it because the steering wheel alone.

Yeah! I ask exactly because of that video.
But I feel that outside 10/10s driving the BMW is much better. Its also, to my point of view, more elegant than the Camaro and will take longer to go out of style.
But still the pricetag makes me think the Camaro might be a good contender.

I would pick the BMW because it is more interesting than a regular everyday SS Camaro. If it was a more interesting model Z/28 or ZL1 than DUH!, but it isn’t and thus BMW all day*.
*Assuming they are both manuals.

I just naturally default to a BMW over a Chevrolet. They tend to be nicer cars.

Well, I don’t like Chevrolet that much either, but I can see the objective merits of the Camaro. I only like the beemer because of the design.
If the infiniti Q60 had more power and a more logical interior, i’d prefer it.
Yet I can’t escape the notion that everyone looks down at Camaros.
Camaro owners are the type of guys that go around setting off car alarms in the local clinic.

While I agree the BMW might be more appealing aesthetically and maybe driver ergonomics but you can actually drive the Camaro and not have to worry about putting miles on the car or its reliability.
