Sad car related story after the sunset pic
June 2016 a teenage boy and girl were killed when a Tahoe slammed into them at high speed at an intersection. The person responsible plead guilty to murder today. She was 16 years old at the time.
The fully story is here and here but the short version is that Marilee Gardner planned on picking up a 17 year old friend “purchasing drugs, taking the drugs and then crashing her mother’s car with both of them inside in an attempt to kill themselves.”
Im not going to dive too deep into the mental health nut but man alive... I recall being depressed in my life and looking back on it now I realize what kind of warped logic the brain presents as fact and its no wonder why people think this kind of action is logical but holy hell. If you feel depressed:
1. Realize your brain is only going to work against you by driving you down into a spiral of false logic and dead ends. Don’t trust it.
2. There are paths to feeling better and they are absolutely doable. Find 3rd party support.
3. You are not the only person in this world and whatever problems you have can not ruin someone else’s life...consider this please.

Something very similar happened here about 10 years ago. This lady tried to commit suicide by causing a head on collision. It was a real shitty situation all around.

Couple years ago it happened in my hometown. Couple of people I went to high school with floored it down a straight road into the side of the town elementary school late at night nobody had a clue until staff started showing up in the morning . Pretty horrific thing to do.

Considering a whole lot of people believe in the afterlife, and depression very well could be a permanent problem for some, I would recommend keeping that thought to yourself. It might help atheists with good healthcare, though.
