The electric company came out to work on some stuff today and they came out in a Elantra GT hatchback instead of a truck.

Those are excellent cars. Rented a diesel one from hertz in Seoul and drove around the country with the provided English gps. Excellent gas mileage.
That said, it was weirdly equipped in a European way. Cloth seats, but fully loaded with satnav, heated seats, piano roof, and auto climate control, but no cruise control.
The lack of cruise control wasn’t helpful because Korea has stretches of highway with speed averaging cameras that reads your plate over miles and averages your speed to determine if you’ve been speeding. that require consistent speed.
