Sometimes I feel like I should take up drinking, then I remember how repulsive the stuff is. Considering the number of alcoholics in my family (and my wife’s), we should probably count ourselves lucky that we both feel the same way. People keep giving us wine, champagne, etc, and we just put it in a cupboard never to be consumed...

Dr pepper is my soda of choice, although I can’t turn down a Jones soda either.
Not the worst thing in the world to abstain from! Much better than liking booze too much. My former neighbor left behind her entire stock of alcohol when she moved (she was a bartender) and now I’m stuck with nearly endless liquor I’ll never drink... Totally understand how you feel
