This is an absolutely terrible idea and I must have it.

Cheap Milano Red TSX with front end damage. This would not be the worst starting point for a Euro-R clone project.

do it! it looks like a fairly easy rebuild job and parts prices aren’t crazy even for just a rebuild to stock. he is asking a bit too much, but it’s cl so it’s negotiable

Not a bad hit, but I’m honestly surprised the airbags deployed.

I think they’re asking too much @ $2200 for a fourteen year old car with a salvage title, though.

Yeah, absolutely. I might offer $1500. Or possibly see if they’ll take a running, driving, banged up Prelude as a trade.

Yeah, I might offer $1500 for it. Or possibly see if they’d trade it for a running, driving, banged up Prelude.

I’d have a hard time believing that the insurance would want more than $1k for it. I would think the guy would jump at an easy $500.

When I had a car totaled, my insurance buyout was only $300.

That’s too much. You can buy a non-crashed one for $5kish. Wait-did you say manual? GIB!

Manual and in a rare color! It’s perfect for a Euro-R project because it’s in one of the 4-5 colors the Euro-R was sold in.

Cant say im against this plan. Ive chewed over ruffled fronts on cars thinking. If i get this, i wanted the facelift anyhow.

Rarely though the price to buy and the desire to keep that specific car is so great id risk that salvage scar.

I even turned down a 6000 dollar FD

But hey, if you can get the pieces cheap enough, good luck.

Yeah, with any 1G TSX I buy, I would change most of the front to the JDM Accord Euro-R anyway. The grille is different for sure, I think the front bumper is as well. The hood, windshield, fenders, and maybe headlights are identical in both cars, though. As much as I want this, I think the only realistic way I’d get it is if they would accept my Prelude as a trade. It runs and drives, but is a bit banged up and also has a salvage title. Unless the guy is desperate enough to accept something under $1500.

Not the same color, and a Mugen grille, but this is my thought for it. http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/HONDA/ACCORD/700080006730170621011/index.html

They’re usually only seen in gray or other gray.

Or that light grayish blue. And occasionally silver, black, or white. It’s also true for the 2nd generation, which actually does have two shades of grey...
