Hey oppo,

Consulting y’all for this:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Do DIY kits like these generally have a good reputation or is it better to have a mechanic install brake lines?

Also, considering they’re for two different gens of the Eclipse, and considering the Eclipse was mostly identical to the Talon, would these work in the Eagle?

The stainless line kits are generally decent, check with reputable forum of your choice for preferred reliable vendors on your vehicle... but as far as installation goes if you know how to bleed your brakes you can install these yourself. If your brake bleeder screws haven’t been opened in a long time make sure you spray them with PB Blaster a few days in a row before you start this job. Snapped off bleeder screws can ruin your day.

editing to add - on some cars if you let ANY air get into the ABS unit you need an OEM computer interface of some kind to bleed the ABS head - that’s the box with all of the little pistons in it that rumbles when you trigger the anti-lock. If your car doesn’t have ABS, ignore this statement. If it does, just be really careful that you don’t let air get inside the lines.

I like my stoptech rotors, They do make decent stuff despite the stupid name.
