It generally moves at the speed of a wheelchair though.

Is that restricting it to a van? I thought that was just to indicate it is van compatible, with the extra unload space.

Is there a handicapped tag hanging from the ISRV mirror at least?

If not, then they should tow the car, and then burn it.

If there is, I’m not sure why they couldn’t park 1 space over, but I’m not familiar with the law on that.

Prius C isn’t sold in Finland but if it would be you could register it as a van . This would lower taxes in certain cases.

Update. My brain is slow today. You cannot register a hatchback as a van unless there is a type approved version of it.

These “van accessible”spots are marked so because they have the cross-hatched area to the right. Most lift vans that have the electric ramp open up on that side and need 6 feet to reliably unfold with room to get out. It doesn’t mean that it’s illegal for a non-lift vehicle to park there. However, where possible, we are supposed to leave those open if there are other spaces available. It’s kind of like the big stall in the rest room. Anyone is technically allowed to use it, but if there are other stalls open, and you’re not disabled, don’t be a dick and take the only accessible one.
