I have questions that I’m sure David Tracy will answer when he buys this.

That looks homemade... real U.S. Mail Cherokees were genuinely RHD:

What blows my mind is they make RHD Cherokees from factory .

WHY DONT YOU JUST BUY A POSTAL JEEP

Are you sure he wasn’t the one that did the conversion?

Kits like that aren’t unusual for vans and such but why bother converting when there was a factory made RHD version?

Yes. I don’t think the USPS is desperate enough to hire Virginia grads.

Cost. This guy probably already owned this jeep, and a welder.

That plus a 12 pack and a free weekend gets you a mail jeep.

Converted to RHD for rural mail delivery.

Right there. Rural mail delivery.

Seems like they don’t have a lot of money to spend on vehicles, and they certainly don’t get one from the post office to drive.

Most of the time, I see them just sitting in the middle of a bench seat equipped car driving solely with their left hand and foot so they can reach out the right window easily. This jeep seems a little safer than that, as long as the welding and redneck engineering is done well.

Even if a RHD Cherokee wasn’t available from factory (which there is), this conversion is shoddy and awkward.

The Aussies are known for their LHD to RHD conversions and would piss themselves laughing at this being road legal or even that someone did it in the first place.

Take this 2010 Corvette, the work is fantastic.

Insufficient rust for Mr Tracy to consider purchasing this one. Try back in a few years.

Rural mail route are sometimes delivered under contract with private couriers, aren’t they? This would be for such a person.
