I saw two movies over the weekend. Thor Ragnarok and Baby Driver. These are my reviews.
Thor: I cannot remember the last time I laughed that hard. I’m absolutely glad I paid theatre prices to see it.
Baby Driver: not at all what I was expecting. I loved it, and feel like I need to see it another dozen times to capture all the nuances. Side note: in light of recent revelations, seeing Spacey in the movie felt wrong, and his character fell completely flat.

Thor: absolutely funny but also quite smart. Taika’s a gem, that board rep from Westworld rocks, HULK RELATABLE, Thor+Loki is always good, nice ending.
Baby Driver: Edgar. MOTHERFUCKING. Wright. I want him to direct my biopic. If anything I think he can direct Star Wars Ep9.

I really liked Thor as well. The other marvel universe characters were great in their cameos. Esp. Dr. Strange.

Ah ha, I just posted about Baby Driver a few minutes ago. Will check it out later in the week or while on vacation next week.

Baby Driver was a KILLER movie and I am so glad I saw it last month before Kevin Spacey revealed himself to be a predator.
Jamie Foxx was the man. I want his red camo jacket!

Can’t wait to see Thor. We’ve enjoyed all of the Avengers movies, and the humor is by far the best part of them. That is one thing that DC can’t seem to find. They are playing too much into the dark side of things, and it gets oppressive. Haven’t seen the new one yet, though.
That said, humor or no, I could watch Gal Gadot all day long.

Just watched Baby Driver for the second time on Saturday. I liked it better the second time.
