Yeah, but on this particular street, ‘traffic’ would be a hell of a stretch. If it’s not pickup time for the school at the end, you’d be lucky to find two cars on the block at the same time, any time of day.

Fair enough, but if the law allows for “everywhere except one-way streets,” that means I’d have to deal with some bozo parking against the flow on a busy street.
My office is in a multi-use facility and, despite laws against it , people park the wrong way all the time. Just look at all these buttheads!
This causes confusion at best, traffic jams and accidents at worst. It’s one of the things that gets my ire up and makes me wish they’d start enforcing the parking laws. It’s not like they aren’t around - if you don’t pay the meter, they will be right there to write a ticket.
