2011 Subaru Impreza
drive: rwd

title status: clean
transmission: manual
A lot has gone into this car, Please do not respond if you are not serious. This is a 2011 Subaru WRX hatch. Heated seats, Bluetooth,sunroof, privacy screen. Currently tuned on Cobb acessport stage 2+ 91octane. Very mild engine mods. Very slammed and yes it is cambered. Don’t like it, buy it n change it. Yes it does burnouts. Don’t like it? Put a 6 speed STi trans in it. Car has been meticulously maintained and cleaned since I got it. Text is preferred. Cash is king. Looking to move on and start a different build. Interested really in rear wheel drive cars like s2000 z4 brz Frs gt86 Bmw 335i Mazda rx7. Something cool with a big turbo. I also would consider diesel trucks. Text me if you are serious

I am intrigued to know what kind of butchery went into converting it to RWD. My bet is on just removing the front axles and locking the outputs in place, likely with booger welds.

This is also how I feel about RWD Jeeps and FWD Audis, which are available from the factory. The AWD is one of the major selling points/defining characteristics of the vehicle, don’t get rid of it.

Bad ideas abound.
1. its a VC center, so you would have to rip apart the transfer case to spool the center diff for this conversion to work.
2. The rear diff on the WRX is NOT up to the job of handling 100% of the torque, neither are the mounts.
3. “meticulously maintained”. No. Mods aren’t maintenance.
4. ...And cleaned since I got it. *shows picture with trash all up in the interior*

Because AWD isn’t all that exciting.
Because RWD hatches are nearly impossible to find.
Because making your car into what you want it to be is exactly what we should be applauding here.
Honestly, if it didn’t have the WRX tax on it and was a high quality build, I’d consider it for my next car.

The camber and the interior are more than enough on their own to make me believe it’s not a quality build, or at least not treated well.
The “Yes it does burnouts” line wouldn’t be a worry if it was a garage queen Corvette being sold by an older guy, but a cambered and interior wrapped Subaru with aftermarket body parts... It better be an extremely good deal for me to consider it, cause I can see several things I’d want to return to stock immediately.

Growing up in the northeast, for the longest time I didn’t even know RWD Jeeps were a thing. But if all you want to do is cruise up and down the streets of Daytona Beach with the top down, then I guess I can kinda see the point.
