Looks very similar to the one that sold in Bend, OR last year. Even around these parts, with those AW11 wheels and that beautiful front bumper, it will be very easy to spot.
I had once been in contact with two other Tercel hoarders. I don’t mean people like me who kept buying a few over the years: I mean legit hoarders. They were shady and had suspect tactics. I don’t have the address of either, but I might still have the email of one of them (which is useless but...). I can tell you that he especially struck me as incredibly untrustworthy. He would acquire any Tercel for bottom dollar, cobble together one decent specimen and flip it for big money. IIRC, he had ~40 on his acreage. He’s in Idaho somewhere.
It was only a matter of time before these started getting stolen. The 4x4 vans are stolen in Seattle all the time. 2nd Gen pickup 4x4s are also frequently stolen.

Those non-plaid SR5 seats will be tough for your friend to find at yards, but this could have been a lot worse.

yup. This is why my biggest fear with my cruiser isn’t it getting stolen, its replacing broken windows or hard to find interior bits.
