; 99 Problems But I Can't Afford Them So Why Does It Matter To Me
STARS: 3
There’s an M-Performance version of the X3, but not of the 3-series wagon. I mean, 355 horsepower in the wagon would be pretty cool, but nah, here’s your SUV. Not that it really makes a difference in my life, because I can’t afford either.

Other things that make me sad:
3-series GT
5-series GT
6(why?!?)-series GT
No wagon except the 3-series, and I expect that to end within a few years as well.

I saw a 5-series GT the other day, and immediately thought about what an unsightly vehicle it is. It’s just so... big? I think is the right way to put it?

Wife just got rid of her X3. That thing was quick as hell, and it was a 2015 with “only” 300 Hp.
Would love to get that 355 Hp in a wagon but nooooooooo.

I mean, if you could afford to buy it, you’d be able to afford the speeding tickets!

It’s somewhere in between an X4 and X6 in terms of girth and offensiveness.

I honestly don’t hate the X4 too much. The X6... well, it’s bigly.

Ha! True - although thankfully she only got one with hers in 3 years!

She’s not a car person obviously.

My wife wants one too. Though if I may be honest, just a bit* out of our price range...
* - bigly.

Yeah, they’re not cheap, that’s for sure - nothing new is these days.
The RX gets a lot of heat from enthusiasts (and rightfully so - I’ve driven the last gen and this one), but it’s very good at its mission - which is to cart families (and retirees) to soccer practice, the mall, etc. reliably in comfort and luxury without drama. My only knock on it is that rear/side visibility isn’t that great for a vehicle that’s guaranteed to be around small children, but with the various nannies it has on it, it’s fine.
