I almost bought a Ka when shopping for my first car, but the Twingo drove and still drives so much nicer that I’m still glad I didn’t and bought the Twingo instead. Still like the way the Ka look from some angles, though the rear is a bit weird.

Also, that red is definitely the best colour for a Clio.

The Ka is nice enough but the styling is too busy. All the designs cues of a Fiesta but on a smaller package.

The Clio does look good.

Yeah you’re right, the styling works better on the Black Edition (or something like that, can’t remember exactly what it was called) though, however I couldn’t find one of those in my budget back then.

We didn’t get a Black Edition, but got a Grand Prix II, but there was so many editions and names. In fact more names than the number of actual Kas I’ve seen.

Hey Svend, looks amazing as always!

I was wondering, the Moose is in desperate need of a good wash (or I could leave it dirty, but that can’t last forever) but the problem is that I park it in the university garage; would you recommend that I take a weekend and get some materials (which I then have to find somewhere to store) and learn how to do the job myself, or just pay someone experienced to do it? Or leave it dirty? I want to consult an expert after everyone’s commented “Your car’s so dirty!” in the past two months. I personally find it hilarious, but I’m concerned about the health of the paint being stuck beneath dirt all the time. Thanks in advance!

Hi fella.

Do you have any stuff at present?

I can recommend a car shampoo which has some sealant built in, think wax’n’wax on a new level, called Gyeon Bathe+ which will keep the number of bottles down.

In fact using Gyeon Bathe+ which can be used to wash and seal paint, glass, plastic and wheels. In conjunction with Gtechniq I2ab which is an all surface interior cleaner from fabric to plastics and leather.

Bathe+

I’ve fast forwarded the usual junk.

Awesome! A one-bottle solution would definitely be best as I’d be doing it at an outdoor self-service wash station—currently I have no materials as my father was always one to wash things with dish soap and hot water; it worked fine on our fleet of ageing, sun-baked and fading fleet at home, but I do want to maintain the paint on the Moose as it hasn’t yet been ruined by a previous owner. So Bathe+ and I2ab, then? Also, would these be usable for the insides of windows? My windshield is pretty grimy inside as well as out.

Okay, forgot glass. You can use household stuff but get ready for a world of smears. I’ve been using Gtechniq G6 but recently bought a bottle of Gyeon Glass, both are really easy to use and contain no added scents or colors to make it look pretty or smell great (which is usually what makes it smeary) so leave a clean non smears surface.

Just watched the videos for the Bathe products—that’s awesome! Now I have a reason to wash the beast if only to play with that stuff :3

Thank you so much for the suggestions, they are greatly appreciated and will be applied ASAP :D

It’s good stuff. There are a few variations on it within the Gyeon range and from other companies.

No worries. If you have any further questions, fire away.

Do you have a throw away e-mail account?

Not really, I’m willing to put mine here though, I haven’t had any issues with it in the past.

Do you usually use two buckets as per recommended by others? That’s the one other thing I was concerned about in terms of storing between washes.

I’ll put a post up at 13:00EST with mine on in the picture for five minutes.

I do use two buckets with a grit guard in each, though only one is necessary.

You can get lids so you can put a grit guard in one, but the other bucket inside that, put the bottles inside that one and then put a lid on it. All self contained.

Lol. I had it up for over an hour or so before I changed it. Lol.

I dismissed your other post so it’s no longer on the screen.

I’ve noted your e-mail address and fill fire one over.
