Everyone keeps pointing out the lyrics to Me vs Maradonna vs Elvis. I thought it was creepy before, but holy shit is it fucked up now.
Brand New helped me get through a really tough time in my life, and The Devil And God Are Raging inside me was one of my favourite albums of all time. But now, I don’t know if I can listen to it. Just... fuck man, I heard stories about Jesse Lacey being an asshole before, but this allegation and his admission of guilt makes it unlikely I’m going to listen to his music again. What he did to her was monstrous and his “there’s no excuse” response sounds like an excuse.
Yeah, I won’t be listening to Brand New again.
