It’s a cold Saturday evening, and I’m inside doing housework. Decided to crack open this local Thai tea milk stout. It’s delicious.

We had weather you’d be very familiar with this week. Tuesday through Thursday it was rainy and in the 40s and low 50s. This morning it was below freezing. I’ve been on vacation from work, otherwise i wouldn’t have minded as much. Stouts and browns have definitely been on my radar this week.

I think our doggos would be get along well.

A constantly-topped-off glass? Is that some kind of magic thing? Did you rescue a leprechaun or something?

Don’t get me wrong, I envy you, but you have got to be aware that these magic things always seem to go wrong. Like you shuffle off to bed, your dog wags his tail and knocks over the glass, it keeps trying and trying to fill up but the whiskey spills out, and you wake up in the morning to find your whole house is an inch deep in whiskey and all the rugs are ruined.

There is a garage in the U.S. with a mezzanine over some of the garage for relaxing.
I’d love to add a retractable outdoor wash bay (a rigid canopy that pulls out from the garage structure so I can wash outside from the main garage area when it’s raining on cold out. I don’t really fancy the idea of an indoor wash bay).

I’m drawing my idea of it as we speak.

I think I’m putting too much effort into what I’d do.

I want an underground garage area and build it near Petworth here in the U.K. (very close to Goodwood for the festival of speed, etc... each year).

I’ve had similar thoughts for a garage. The garage and house would be in rural Sussex County, Virginia (away from everything and everyone), would fit eight cars and have room for detailing/maintenance, and be obscured by trees from the road, but have a clearing on all sides large enough so that if a tree fell it wouldn’t hit the garage.

Genius.

Mine is that the mezzanine exits onto a ground level. While the garage doors are on a below ground area, so the underground garage area goes further back under and sideways from the mezzanine area.

Of course it needs to have a Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America in the living area to drool over when the commercials come on TV.

This is my all time lust. A 1954-5 Lancia Aurelia b24 Spider America in white, wire wheels and blood red leather interior.

I could look at it all day, moving the chair I’m sat on slightly each day.
