I found a Viper on my local CL, and the reason the seller is letting it go is because he bought a Hellcat. Go figure.

I mean, I disagree with the choice, but to each their own.

New rear tires and only 7000 miles. He may not have driven it much, but it’s good to know he drove it like he stole it.

Dude...I would soooooooooo much rather have a Viper than any Challenger (Hellkitty or otherwise). This guy...

I was going to say “maybe the original tires were just old” because I don’t think you should use the same tires for 4 year regardless of wear. Then I realized it does say REAR tires.

wierd seller...... you’d think he’d replace the viper with something equally nuts.... like a quadrifroggyface or maybe a saleen...

not a boring hellcat.. (pfffffft boooooring.... in fact.. i assume the dude is well over 50 and running out of non gray hairs.... possibly just running out of hair)

Yup, a Challenger is a lot easier to get in and out of, and more comfortable once you do get in.

I guess he really needed those rear seats.

The scary part is there’s now a Viper for sale with mismatched tires with the tires that steer being old.

when i worked in a garage we had an order for 335/35/17 tires for an f40..... dude told me the rears only last about 1500 miles

sooo... dude might just be driving it normally (or what passes for normally with these cars)

Vipers are just claustrophobic in general. I had a friend who had a 96 GTS for a while and it was cool but I also kinda hated riding in the thing.

I had considered that so I checked on a Viper forum and most owners there are saying they get 18-20k miles out of the rears and about 25k miles on fronts.

I did like the owner that said every 4 years he starts doing burnouts because he’s replacing them due to age no matter how many miles they have on them.

Yeah, I’d bet most F40 owners replace tires due to being dry rotted not being worn out anyway.

I’ve sat in one at an autoshow. I kinda liked how small it was on the inside. It made you feel like you were in a sports car rather than the ocean-going vessel that is the Challenger.
