It’s tied as best countach with the original unwinged version.

There’s the fancy AutoArt version, or if you’re just a regular person, the Tomica Premium.

Interesting - hadn’t heard of this before. First thing I thought was, ‘huh, a Countach in Subaru WRC colors’ - but it would have predated the Subie color scheme, (wonder if this influence Subaru?)

Subie’s paint scheme was actually based on the colors of their main sponsor, the 555 cigarette brand .

The wheels are normal colored 5000S wheels I think. And the blue is from their F1 sponsor.

The red one is nicer in my opinion, but I couldn’t find pictures of it.

Yeah. Would still hoon it in any color. Cars are made to get us from Point A to Point B, but cars like this were made to get us from Point A to Point B is a much more fun way, aka hooning on back roads. Anyone else?

The Walter Wolf Countach was a modified Countach with more power and a new bodykit specially commissioned by Walter Wolf, the Canadian businessman and F1 team manager/constructor. This was in the mid-1970s, before WRC was a thing, even.

It’s always interesting to see how sponsorships on high-profile race cars lead casual enthusiasts to associate colours with a specific car, and sometimes we don’t even know what the sponsoring company produces/offers.

As mentioned by SpeedSix above, his cars were modified LP400 models, the improvements added found their way into later models and his cash infusions for his modified cars helped keep the company afloat.
